Previous: The Beam Line
The Slow-Controls at CEBAF are based on EPICS (Experimental Physics
Industrial Control System)[1] which is a set of
softwares intended to develop distributed applications to control
big-physics devices. It is supported by the Los Alamos National
Laboratory (LANL), Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Jefferson Lab,
Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory (LBL), Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron
(DESY) and many more laboratories and companies are using it everyday.
The slow controls of Hall B beamline and CLAS detectors also used
this environment.
